It is with great pleasure that ISE welcomes you to MRISA Senior Football 2017. After a great deal of planning by the faculty, students and parents of ISE, I am pleased to say we are looking forward to the games. Sport is an integral part of education and I am thrilled that so many students are able to take part in the football competition this weekend.
This year we have added a few “extras” to our Saturday and I hope you can enjoy the shopping, food and foot massages. A big thank you goes to our PTA President, Erica Meyer, and her team of PTA volunteers. We could not do this without all of you.
Preparing for a MRISA tournament takes a great deal of planning and I would like to personally thank our Athletic Director, Scott Neufeld, and his team of faculty volunteers who assisted behind the scenes.
The event would not be possible without the student volunteers lead by Jen Ko. Thanks for being out there to assist with the logistics and photography.
Finally, I would like to thank the secondary school principal, Kristen Knudsen, for her support with MRISA throughout the year. Her thoroughness and thoughtfulness has been greatly appreciated.
To all the students, play your hearts out, take time to meet new friends, and most of all have fun!
Let the games begin,
Heather Naro
Superintendent
